Teresa and her husband Aaron reside in Long Pine, Nebraska with their son Braxton and daughter Rowan. Teresa and her husband have been licensed foster parents in the state of Nebraska where we had several placements and have also hosted 1 Foreign exchange student from Norway.

Teresa was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management and a Master of Science in Psychology, both from the University of Phoenix. She has worked as a Home Study Specialist with Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, Foster Parent Resource Coordinator for Boys & Girls Home of Nebraska, Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Case Aide for Child Protective Services, along with owning Small Beginnings Child Care LLC for 14 years.

 Teresa has previously served on the Boards of the Long Pine City Council, Ainsworth Community Schools Booster Club Board, and the Ainsworth Community Schools Strategic Overview Committee. In our family's spare time we enjoy spending time at the Calamus reservoir boating and camping, gardening, meeting new people, going on road trips, and spending time with family and friends.

Teresa has a special place in her heart for helping children, she is drawn to working with children and families in the foster care system as she believes everyone deserves a home where they are loved and well taken care of.
