Teresa LeMunyan
Licensing Specialist
Teresa is proud to call Ainsworth home and is currently embracing her empty nest era as the mother of two adult children. She brings a strong background in family services, child welfare, and community involvement, along with a lifelong passion for supporting children and families.
Teresa earned both her Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management and Master of Science in Psychology from University of Phoenix. Throughout her career, she has served in several impactful roles, including Home Study Specialist with Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, Foster Parent Resource Coordinator for Boys & Girls Home of Nebraska, and Case Aide for Child Protective Services with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. She also owned and operated Small Beginnings Child Care LLC for 14 years.
As a licensed foster parent in Nebraska, Teresa welcomed several placements into her home and also hosted a foreign exchange student from Norway, experiences that further deepened her commitment to helping others and building meaningful connections across cultures.
Teresa has remained actively involved in her community through service on the Long Pine City Council, the Ainsworth Community Schools Booster Club Board, and the Ainsworth Community Schools Strategic Overview Committee. Outside of work and volunteer service, she enjoys spontaneous road trips, concerts, thrift and garage sale shopping, vacations, and spending time with her children, family, and friends.
