Karen is a life-long Nebraskan. She grew up on a farm with her parents and 3 siblings. Karen is a graduate of Butte High School and lives in Butte with her husband Virgil. They are the parents of a daughter, Vanessa of Wayne, NE.

Karen enjoys local history preservation, genealogy research, knitting and listening to music. She likes going on road-trips with her husband, spending time with friends and the companionship of her dog Sam.

  

Prior to working for Building Blocks, Karen was employed as an Accounting Manager for a farm implement dealership.

As a member of the Building Blocks team, Karen is the Internal File Auditor and Administrative Assistant.
