Jacquelyn Meyer is a Licensed Mental Health Professional. She is the Executive Director of the Counseling & Enrichment Center with the main office being in O'Neill, Nebraska. She is also the Director of the Agency Based Foster Care Organization called Building Blocks for Community Enrichment, which places children throughout Northeast Nebraska. She has 15 years experience treating Attachment Disordered Children and has hundreds of Continuing Education hours on the subject. She is presently working with foreign born adoptions as well. She has presented throughout Nebraska and on a National level. She is a member of the National Board of Directors for Attach. Rachael Allemang is a Foster Care Specialist for Building Blocks. She graduated from Central Community College in 1998 with an associate degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in Child Care Administration. Following college, she worked as a Residential Counselor for the Boys and Girls Home Inc. in Norfolk at the group home and shelter. Later, she was able to supervise the Day Reporting Program which is an after school program for kids on parole and probation. Rachael has been employed with Building Blocks for Community Enrichment since 2002. In 2004, she graduated with her Bachelor's degree from International Bible College and Seminary with a degree in Christian Counseling. Alana Pearson is a Foster Care Specialist for Building Blocks in O'Neill. Alana graduated in 2005 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor's of Science degree. During college, Alana was involved with the Nebraska Foster Youth Council. As an alumni of foster care herself, being apart of this council helped her develop leadership skills and to improve the foster care system in Nebraska. Alana took part with a group of youth to develop Foster Parent Training videos that are used statewide to train foster parents.
